A quick search shows that model is long out of production and more than I would like to pay.

I did just pick up a pair of Lavas from Ebay. She might like one of those.

A while ago I got my wife a pink Jester for her keychain. Then she got hold of one of my Paras and decided it was going to be her "purse" knife. I was surprised because she has small hands, but she really likes the ergos.

I just got my wife a purple Ladybug. It went straight into her purse, she didn't even blink. If she uses it, I will get her a matching Delica. She likes form over function, and the purple is the only color that matches her purse.

If she is going to carry it on her person vs purse, I vote dragonfly.

My wife has purple ladybug in purse but never uses it.

Purple does rock as long it's the right shade.

I know my girlfriend or mother would not carry a delica sized knife as it is too big.

I think they would prefer a cricket/ladybug/dragonfly/etc
I have to agree here... why not one of the bug lines? Delicas (all though small to us) is actually a rather large "pocket knife".

Of your choices I picked Salt 1, for the rust proof blade.
