At the very least, all the ones that come with me on patrol are accounted for :-D

I keep most of my collection on my nightstand right next to me. Weird? Haven't made that determination yet.

Well, as of 0353 here, my 'grail Chinook 1 Proto sits on my waterbed headboard shelf directly behind my snoring skull -- right next to my chambered Ruger P-85 MkII.

After rising, BOTH go in the weaps safe...until just prior to More snoring the following night! ;-)

Mine are sleeping too, in the safe. I will let them out in the AM. Maybe, they will sleep in today!

Thank you, it was a result of fortuitous timing more than anything... I read the post while I was sharpening all my kit knives, so they were already laid out. I figured, what the hey, snapped a picture :-D

Which ones? Some are within arm's reach (2 clipped on me now and 1 in my wallet) some are near places I sit at my apartment, there's a green bag o' knives on the floor there and a hastily gathered chunk of 'em picked up in plastic sheeting in the corner that were in a 5gal pail. Oh, and my Ontario machete is dangling from a light in the bathroom :D (was letting it hang dry after oiling it, now it just makes me giggle so I left it there)

Some in a locked box in my basement, some in a basket with a lot of stuff I need often next to my bed (checks, pens, locks, chains, keys, coins, SAKs, leathermans, USB keys, papers with very important stuff writtten on it like passwords, lock numbers, phone numbers of people who: are important to me, owe me money, have a significant way of dealing with specific problems  ...), and my Green Jester, grey Caly Jr and Lil' Temp' with me.....

Oh, and the SE yang Kitchen knife on a magnified steel bar in the kitchen 25 feet from where I'm writing this...

I have a Sage lying on the table next to me. Apart from that, all of my knives are sleeping comfortably in their designated storage cases.

Oh, and it's 4:35am here.
