Sorry about these huge pics, i dont like them, im using my brother Mac, my computer at work never posted the pics this big for some reason, i gotta work on it a little bit.

although the bigger pic here should help a bit.

My new group gathering, should have around 10 more than the last group pic.

the first 6 Spydies are Economys and Standards, then it goes to the D1 thin clips, fat clips, D2s, CFs, 25th, D3s & the D4s in the last bag.

enjoy, i should have taken all the Santa Fe Stone Works and turned them over but i didnt.. next time

dang Jazz, i really wanted this one for the collection and past up the op. then never saw them again. is this the Tom Krein job ?

there are some odd Delicas on ebay right now that i would buy but the specific ones arent making me buy them, seems like alot of after market engraving stuff.

edit: btw i hate salads and that salad looks really good, the meat is cooked perfectly for a salad, its tri-tip right?

I did the wave removal myself - easiest mod yet. Used a diamond grinder, files, and sandpapers.
It's ginger-marinated sirloin barbequed up. It's done Vietnamese style with rice noodles on the bottom, lettuce, cucumber, carrot, and then I made a ginger-garlic sauce to dump on it. Went well with the steak, I think.
I know that David Lowry had a D4 wave removed - that's kinda where I got the idea. It's a great user.

- best wishes, Jazz.

I highly recommend this mod. It's a different, nice shaped D4. I just couldn't dig the wave, so off it came and I love it.

hey Jazz,

ive been wondering alot latley of what if you kept the hole but grinded the blade all the down to where when the knife is closed you wouldnt see the blade but only see the ring around the hole ?

i know it wouldnt be that strong when done, but i think it would look really cool. youd have to keep the contour of the handle same as the blade.

if you can pull this off ill send you a Delica to do it, im just really curious to see how the blade will look open and closed.

let me know

RIOT, did you see the video from someone on bladeforums with the reground (waved, double edged) police a couple months ago? It was ground so the back of the blade was contained in the handle.

Let me find it.

wow i did see that awhile back but totally forgot bout it, my idea is just like that but keeping the section around the spydie hole until it gets to the handle.

thanks for the reminding video

Sounds like more work than I'd care to undertake. Still not exactly sure what you mean. Why don't you trace the handle shape on one of your closed Delicas with a dry erase marker and you'll see what it'll look like open, and if you like it or not.

- best wishes, Jazz.
