It's no coincidence, getting rid of the last few now that we have a green light on the Sprint. ;)

Soooo, the Dodo2 is like a phoenix rising from the ashes.... but it's not the Phoenix :)

Can't wait to see what has evolved from this once extinct species. I hope not the plastic caged BB lock :p Either way, I will be EDCing this one when she comes to fruition. And it will be in my drawer along with the C83 Persian Sprint ;)

Sweet Action! I'm sure the change being made are to the lock, there have been a number of update and changes to the ball lock since the original dodo. Hope its caged.

I have a blue PE Dodo in my right front pocket right now! Eric was kind enough to sign the box last year at Blade Show.

Forgive my ignorance, but what should one do to have the best chance of actually being able to buy a sprint run knife, before being sold out? Do you buy it thru your local dealer? Or from the Spyderco factory in Denver? Is there a registration list somewhere?

Aren't sprint runs almost always past models brought back with different materials/colors? If the Dodo is being "re-engineered," does that mean that an updated version might be coming back as a regular production model?

Contact dealer of your choice and make pre-order.
New Graham, Knife Center, Tom Berry are good choices. Also considering your location, SFO is a good choice.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I feel very fortunate. I just picked up a blue G-10 Dodo with the serrated edge in a trade. What a unique knife that "screams" spydie. I got a Lum Titanium Seki City Tanto last month. Two classic knives with great materials and styling. My next aquisition will be a G-10 Military. Love Spyderco!
