Others may have better information than me (almost everyone, probably!), but here is what I understand:
There will be another run of the Bushcraft in wood. At present, they haven't found a wood yet. It may be some time before a new wood is identified. They may do a run in G10 instead of wood in the meantime. Also, there are plans for a high tech "Nasa" version with some kind of funky handle material (maybe Carbon Fiber, maybe something else) and possibly a kydex sheath.
The original Bushcraft used spalted maple and came with a leather sheath.

For me this knife, with leather sheath, and wood handle, have the true old school Spyderco spirit !!!
same as the Bob Lum fixe blade and others.... O.K Bob Lum fixe blade have a micarta handle, but same construction...

The last update I have is something like Rhiney mentioned. CPM-S90v with G10.
They might still have factory second wood ones at the Spyderco Factory Outlet. They were selling for $90 with sheath and some costmetic issues (like a small handle crack). If you want a user I'd grab one and put it to hard work :) .
