ECHO, ECHO!!!

Sent in a Ladybug b/c I thought lock was broken--just corroded, oiled and sharpened, added a spydie hat to save on shipping--$5 for shipping, sharpening and oiling and basically free shipping on the hat?? If I hadn't already decided to commit to spyderco, this would have sealed the deal!!! :spyder:

She always takes care of my Spydies and goes beyond what is required. She's part of what makes Spyderco great.

+1 She has helped me before when I was an idiot and lost the clip screws for my Delica. I offered to pay, but she would have none of it.

It's these kinds of stories that makes me want to send my Spydies back to Golden to test the waters ! I'm glad i have chosen a company with more than decent attitude to customers and people in general.

Keep up the good work Spydercrew :)

my story is:

i sent a knife to warranty and repair with a check for 25 bucks for the sharpening and rebuffing of a the handle or whatever they do.

i got the knife back first in perfection, then a couple weeks later they mailed me back my original check asking to resend them a 5 dollar check. i was blown away with this honestly.

the USA needs to have more companies like this to come together and help the people of this country.

my hat is always off to Spyderco.

This is just more of the same, but seen all together I hope this thread is as impressive to readers as it was to be an individual who received such great customer service. It is easy to steal and copy great product ideas, but good customer service absolutely sets Spyderco apart. Isn't it odd how few want to copy their customer service? ;)

I've never had to deal with Spyderco's customer care before, but it's threads like this one that make me feel confident that if I ever have to, I won't be disappointed.

I have a friend on another forum who needed clip screws for a knife that Spyderco hasn't made in over ten years. Well, since he lives in another country, I told him I would try to call from here (way cheaper phone call).

When we got it all squared away, Charlynn had found the RIGHT screws (I found out Spyderco uses over 45 different screws in their knives!), and sent them - free - to THAILAND!

How many companies can you name that would even TRY to look for parts for a product that they quit making over ten years ago? Let alone shipping them to another country - for free?

Charlynn is the best!
