Gayle Bradley with comparison pics

#1

Post by BBQ BOY »

I receive the Gayle Bradley today. I am extremely impressed. It exudes quality and I do not know if any other high end folder I have ever had surpasses it. I have had several Chris Reeves, Striders and so on and it hangs tough.
i would say the Gayle Bradley's closely compares to the XM-18 and PXL. Size wise I think it is closest to the Manix2
Knives listed are:
Rick Hinderer XM-18
Gayle Bradley
Manix2
Paramilitary
Fallkniven PXL

The 3.5" Rick Hinderer XM-18 looks so nice.

I want one pretty bad.

Terrific shots, thanks.
The Bradley may actually be the best-looking knife of that bunch...

nice pics. i see you got the one with the logo. can i ask where did you get your logo gb? i sent back TWO gbf's cause they lied about having the logo on the reverse. (both ebay)i said twice "are you sure this is the one with the GB logo on the reverse side" and both time they said "yep its got a logo." cost me like $27 to ship them back and forth and back and forth. well i finally got both, one with and one without. i have been talking to people and there is already a buzz about the missing logo ones and people holding on to them and how happy people are with getting a "unique" one and "selling it on ebay for a million bucks" etc. so i have to ask: how many of you have what?

GBF without logo-
GBF with logo-
GBF both with and without-

A few weeks ago I would not have agreed, but this thread makes me want one even more than the other threads have.

As I've been saying, its a killer value. It's underpriced, IMO. (Sal, avert your eyes.)

Mine does not have the logo. Bought it several weeks ago from NGK. I'm using it.

Thanks for the pics BBQ........I'm definitely going to have to get a G. Bradley. I love the fact that it's beefy and has some heft to it. The M4 blade steel is the icing on the cake though....I love my M4 Mules.

Thanks for the pics! I never thought the linerlock on the new Bradley would be THAT MUCH hefty!!!

I hadn't seen a closed picture before. It looks like the hole is partially covered up the handle... is it still easy to do the standard one-handed open with your thumb despite that?

This YouTube reviewsays that the liners are so hefty that the knife is akin to a framelock with decorative scales!

Do you have a Stretch you could show next to the Bradley?

They look similar to my eyes.

In my opinion, yes, definitely. Only a small portion of the bottom of the hole is obscured, and that isn't the part of the hole you're really interested in.
