Really minimal - Spydie (generally D2 Para, S90V Manix2 or Phoenix right now but whatever it is that day), wallet (unknown, leather), keys w/ green Ladybug and Atwood Prybaby, S/A G-Shock Mudman. That's it.
OTOH, when I'm out I always have my car and it's full of the kind of stuff you guys are listing: Cell phone, flashlight, couple more knives, Spyderco Profile set, Lansky keychain serration sharpener, axe, fire sticks, anticeptic, Maui Jims (mine and the wife's), bandages, various OTC meds, case of aquafina, gloves, hats, snowshovel, GPS, chess set :D (you never know) etc etc etc....

I love/hate these threads
I love them because I like to see what's out there. I hate them because I spend money. Hah!
Most days I edc the following:
Spyderco Urban Wharniffe (work) or Manix 2 (not at work)
Fisher Space Pen (telescoping, very heavy wear)
4Sevens Preon 1 Titanium (work) or Novatac/Ra EDC (one of the 2 when not at work)
Apple iPhone 3gs
Ironkey USB thumb drive
Minimalist wallet
for flashlight people, the 4sevens lights are an incredible value. The preons are aaa powered and throw out 70+ lumens on high. They also make the Quark lights which are all either aa or 123 powered and much brighter.

My EDC is:
Leatherman Charge Ti
Spyderco Stretch FRN VG-10 (Coming Soon)
Mini Sharpie (in the elastic sleeve of the Leatherman Sheath)
Fenix L2D-CE LED Flashlight (soon to be upgraded)
iPhone 3G
All-Ett Wallet (I hate thick wallets, these things are great)
Carabiner with keys and A.G. Russell Knives Tweezers

Fenix L2D-CE LED Flashlight (soon to be upgraded)

All-Ett Wallet (I hate thick wallets, these things are great)
Carabiner with keys and A.G. Russell Knives Tweezers
Nitecore Extreme Clone by Romisen (great light for the buck) or Fenix P1D
Zebra F-301 pen, medium tip Sharpie
Moleskine pocket notebook
iPhone 3G
Casio Watch
Crumpler Wallet
So, that was EDC. I always carry 2 knives and a multitool too. I have some knives (Spyderco mostly, but some Fällkniven, SOG and BM too) and tools (Vic Spirit, LM Juices (KF4 and SC2), Skeletool, Spyderench, CRKT Zilla Jr...) to choose from so I decide what to carry every day in the morning. Some favorites, but no real EDC, I just LOVE to use different knives

It varies from day to day, depending on what I'm doing. But generally I carry on my person:
- Keychain with a AAA-cell Maglite
- A disintegrating leather wallet
- A 1st-gen iPhone
- A plain chrome Zippo
- My brand new MeerKat sprint
- And finally a D2 Para or Orange Millie on weekends
In the Bronco, of course, I carry lots more gear:
- A three-man tent, air mattress and two fleece bedrolls
- A small tool box
- A four D-cell Maglite
- A Moleskine reporter's notebook and stainless Parker ballpoint
- A standard cheap machete
- A case of drinking water
- A Coleman stainless cooler
- A Kelty daypack with a change of clothes and CamelBak insert
- Maps and a compass
- Rain/cold weater gear
- A pair of Danner hikers
- And, often, my mountain bike and all its related gear
Around these parts, with these friends, I'm often camping/hiking/biking, sometimes on the spur of the moment. But, now that I've taken a tally, it seems like a ridiculous amount of stuff to tote around...

Woah! Going upscale with an Ironkey, eh.

The "soul" of hi-tech materials like G-10, H1, ZDP, Titanium, carbon fiber, etc is found in the performance. That appreciation of the "spirit" comes out in time, after use. It's saying, you can depend on me! I'm there for you no matter what! - Sal Glesser

My employer requires it… if it's going to go into the building with me. Kind of a pain, but it will "self destruct" if tampered with according to the manual. Hah!

My Spydies don't get as much EDC time because of the work environment...
