Can anyone tell me if spyderco ever made a c-15, G-10 handle with a plain edge??? I think the G-10 handle was only combo edge. There is one for sale on ebay and I was wondering if it is fake!

According to Spydiewiki, the C15 Terzuola was never made in G-10 with a plain edged blade. The price lists from the era in which it was produced do not list a plain edged G-10 C15. The catalogs from that period do not mention a plain edged G-10 C15. I would therefore strongly suspect the knife being auctioned is a FrankenSpyder.

The big question is: Does the liner lock have proper function since the blade isn't the original blade?

That's for sure. Vaguely remember reading somewhere that the aluminum and G-10 versions were made by different contractors. If true, that would tend to make lockup even more problematic.Peter1960 wrote:The big question is: Does the liner lock have proper function since the blade isn't the original blade?

This guy seems to be getting his spydies from the the same source as the notorious ebay frankenspydie seller Travis... Note that he is also located near Golden. There seems to be a leak in the Spyderco workforce for old warranty returns or repair jobs. I would avoid this seller.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
