today's EDC... typical of most days in winter...

H1 Spyderhawk SE (pretty much hasn't left my pocket since it arrived!)
Blue Sprint Meerkat in watch pocket
SE Pacific in "halibut coat" pocket
PE Pacific in survival kit in Patagonia Half Mass bag
SE Waved E4 (what an AWESOME SD knife!!!)
Mora Scout FB knife, also in bag
SE ladybug hawkbill on key ring
SE ladybug salt on key ring
:D :D :D

if it were summer, i'd probably have a larger fixed blade (like the rock salt) on me, or in my bag, as well.

*Wow*

You guys with all the blades at once. I feel weird with two as an EDC.

I run at least three at work but they are task specific.

Why so many knives?

I know how you feel. The pic I took of my Para and Perrin Neck Bowie was the only time I have carried the two together, usually it's one or the other.

Different tools for different tasks. :D And I try to remain prepared, just in case there's an emergency, or I somehow find myself in the Southeast Alaskan bush for unexpected / spontaneous reasons. I've been in emergency situations... and have found that a little preparation can make all the difference. Also, I'm the kind of person who usually rushes from work to fishing (and from fishing to work) during the non-winter months... :D

The meerkat is my "fun" knife, and a people-friendly tool. The spyderhawk is great as primary EDC, and would work well as an emergency SD blade. The two ladybugs are highly FUNctional, and carry very easily on my key chain... no big deal bringing them along everywhere I go... and it means I always have a cutting tool handy, no matter what. :D The pacifics are awesome outdoor folders... and are great for dealing with fish. (Gotta be ready for spontaneous fishing adventures!!!). The mora knife is perfect for survival situations... or if i need to do something crazy or beat up an easily replaceable fixed blade... and on nights when I'm coming back from the studio late, or if I find myself walking home in the snow rather than driving, the E4 Wave gets slipped into my pocket as an emergency-on SD knife. (The last time I drove home at night... about 3am... I was stopped at a light, and some drunk came up and tried to open the door of my van. I hit the lock button and pulled away before he could hit the handle... don't know what he was up to, and glad I didn't find out.)

Guess I could just carry one knife... and there have been times I have... but more is just too fun! :D

Carrying all of those knives would weigh down my clothing.

I do add a fourth to my uniform. A Boker Cop Tool, but I don't like the sheath it came with since it is open topped. I need to find a leather one so it stays on my gun belt.

[quote="Billy"]Hi Doc. Figured you might notice that little guy being the wharncliffe fan you are. :D It is made by PML Knives (Paul Letourneau) of 3/16" CPM 3V with a 2.5" blade, G10 handles and the very handy little screwdriver butt, which I suppose could double as a nasty little skull-crusher. It's perfect for pocket or neck carry and it splits time in my front left pocket with my RAT Izula. It is unbelievably sharp (whittles hair ridiculously easy) and holds that edge really well. This knife has made me a big fan of 3V. :D Here's some better shots of it I just snapped. Enjoy!

Does PML have a website or a sub-forum on any knife boards? I did the Google and came up empty.

PML is on BF. Paul is a great guy! I have met him, and had the pleasure of handling his amazing knives.
