My wife's grandmother died of Alzheimer's a decade back. My Aunt died of it a few years ago - it took 15 years. Now my wife's Dad is advancing pretty rapidly; a 75 year old man in perfect physical health who can still throw a bale of hay around but then can't remember why he just did so. What a horrible disease. Thanks for the awareness and support in the Spyderco community, and thanks for donating a portion of Sage profits to the cause.

This is one of the reasons all my pocket knives have "Spyderco" stamped on them somewhere.
Good luck with everything, sooner or later the curve will turn.

Terrific! What an attitude did Spyderco display -- truly, people make a company. Best wishes to Sal, Kristi, Gail, and the entire family at Spyderco.
Tom, hope things get really, really well soon at your end. After all, BELIEVE.

Yet another reason to be a proud Spyderco owner. :D
Congrats on the new knife and a big thumbs up to TazKristi and Spyderco for their generosity and stellar customer service.

Wow!
When I read the top first post in this thread, I couldn't think of another company that would step up for it's customers like this.
Having read through the entire thread and thought about it some more, I still can't... :)
Thanks to Kristi, Sal et al for restoring a little faith in people
