Hey MCM, I have seen that jimped.. excess of steel? whatever you call it :p used to open the knife by rubbing it across someones arm in a self defense video. Is that the purpose or is there something else to it?

by the way here's something for the thread:

"used to open the knife by rubbing it across someones arm in a self defense"

I believe so, although I have never tried it.
Did cut myself with it when I 1st got it though.
Trying different opening technics.
One of the sharpest knifes I have ever owned.
One of the few in 440v (CPM S60V ) too.

As were not supposed to yack here, I will post a pic to keep peace on the thread......

Visited my (not exactly) local Spydie dealer yesterday, looking to buy a Stretch FRN. I ended up buying a Sage 1, and I must say I'm in love :D Played around with the Sage 2 again, but that one is a little out of my budget at the moment.

Santa stopped by my house a little early :D . Many thanks to all my very good friends that helped make this batch of new arrivals a reality. Up to this point the radical color in the collection was foliage green, I guess it isn't so radical anymore!
