I found your grail knife in a knife shop!

#1

Post by Hector Castro »

I think I found someones grail knife in a knife shop yesterday. It is still there. I did not buy it.

Is this one yours?

Also, what is the :spyder: knife in the middle of the picture with the CF handle? it also has a magnet for the lock, when the blade opens???

Image

It is at the :spyder: store in North Ft worth
House of blades. 817-237-7721 ask for Chris, he will know exactly what knife you are talking about.

Let me know if you buy it....

I'd have thought that the two in the bottom left corner of the pic that look suspiciously like Impalas would be more interesting to a few on here. ;) :)

Yep, that butt shape is pretty unique, but even with that, it took me a while to place it.

Here's the Impala.

I'd never heard of the Impala- I like it! I realize it's meant for hunters, but a FFG version would make a sweet EDC knife in my opinion... sprint run, anyone?

What is the knife in the middle with Ti or Al scales? ATR?

Ok,
so they have a few discontinued knives. ATR. I did not even know that those impalas were spydies. I saw the weird emblem on the blade, and just thought they were something else. They have both models you showed Sam.

Ask for Chris when you call. He knows his spydie stuff. Most of their prices are MSRP from the time the knife was released. So they are priced well for a discontinued model.
I purchased a spot when I was their yesterday. $70 NIB

That is an R2.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Although I'd quite like the gut hook version to go with my plain one, chance would be a fine thing. As I'm in the UK I won't take the risk even if he would ship. :( ;)

Delica and Endura are great knives! They're the low priced crack samples that'll get you hooked on spyderco! Feed the need!

Ah yes, the great old House Of Blades. Famous for 2 things - their vast selection of knives and their sky high prices - List price on basically everything. Those prices are why you will find a lot of out of production models in stock. Prices aside it's a great place to browse knives. You can easily spend the better part of an afternoon browsing the thousands of knives they have. (both production and custom.)

Yep, HoB is a great store. Row after row of just about every production brand you can name (including two cases of Spydies). I love to browse there but they are somewhat proud of their inventory.
