That is badass! Too bad it doesn't have VG-10. That would be a dreamy knife.

Thank you.
I find the steel of the tenacious not bad at all. I was really surprised by the top quality for a so low price.
Everything is in place, strong, good material, the steel blade is maybe not the top high tech steel, but i find the sharpness really good and it's very easy to sharpen it. I could compare that steel to the 12c27 that i enjoy especially. A good choice for me.

Nicely Done. Cool propane ano job :)

Looks good! The blue Ti handle gives this model a really nice touch.

The only funny thing is that the Titanium for the handle probably costs more than the knife itself :D

Cheers, Rob

You're not far from the truth :D , but the tenacious is really a cool knife and i think the knife deserved it.

Incredible. Beautiful job.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Sick as! I would do this, but I gifted my Tenacious =[

btw.. it's not actually anodising
I used to NOT like thumbholes. Until I used one.
Just like I didn't like the look of Spyderco knives in general. Until I held one.

Thank you :D

You're right it's not an electrical anodisation its a heat oxidation of the titanium, the result is the same, the process is different :D

Wow!

So you've taken one of the most difficult to shape metals and made it obey your will and sport my favorite color. How did you cut, shape and smooth the Ti?

I cut titanium with my angle grinder and 1mm thick stainless cutting disk .

(pay attention , titanium sparks are very good to start a workshop fire...:eek :)

I put in shape and softed with my belt grinder, 40, 120, 240 and 400 grit belt
After i used something as the scotchbrit pad to have a satined completion.
After i cleaned and degreased everything with aceton and anodised it with the torch.
