It's pronounced spī-dər-kō, like the word spider, right? That would make sense with a :spyder: on the blade.

Some guy at work was trying to tell us that it is pronounced spi-dir-kō. He is a guy on loan from another manufacturing plant. So far, the other plant hasn't been sending us their sharpest pencils.

Yes, just like the little arachnid, with a "co" on the end. ;) Tell your guy at work to give us a call, the main phone greeting should be enough that he'll hear how we say it.

In all honesty though, we hear spi-dir-kō frequently.

When I showed off one of my knives to a few people, two of them said the same thing...

Is that a "spy-dare-co"? Exactly chopped up like that, go ahead and say it with me "spy...dare...co" now I encourage you to laugh to yourself :)

Well if she is not traveling she should be on Mountian Time. So that would actually be 8 pm for her.

Still after office hours however. :)

It all in how you stress the Sy-lla-bles

Never really thought about, but now that I do, I can see how it happens. :)

Since we are on the subject of pronounciation, how do you pronounce "Delica?" Is it Dell-ica or De-Leak-a or something else?
The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
