I will continue ... :p

Unfortunately, not too many fans of Shabaria, may be couple dosen :( .

So for 2010 Forum knife I would suggest new FRN Dragonfly with some customization. Silver bug on the handle would be very nice

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

What about a Salt 1 with VG-10 Steel and FFG? Maybe in,...puh,..red?
Somehow like the old Delica but improved and it doesn't have the steel liners.

They had a new production PE Shabaria concept/prototype at Blade this year. Had thicker liners but everything else looked the same. Mr. Glesser said they were considering it for a sprint run. Could be a possibility for a forum knife, would be pretty cool to see it with some different handle material and a splash of color. :)

I think that you're missing the point about the Salt line. They are all made with H1 steel so that they are rustproof, even in saltwater, hence the name.

That being said, since I just ordered one from Tom Krein, with one of his awesome regrinds on it, I'd pick something else ;) . I still root for a Dodo of some sort, perhaps as the precursor to its reintroduction as an occasional limited production knife.

A Delica or Caly Jr with Tan FRN scales to blend in with my khakis at the new job environment.

As for next year, assuming some of the actions and reactions surrounding this year's have not soured them on the idea, I think, as in the past, the what and how will, and should be, their decision. Me, I'm game for anything from a Forum engraved Persistence to a :spyder: pattern damascus bladed Persian. ;) :D
Thanks for the info Deacon. So, if I am reading the link correctly, there was a 3 year gap between the lava and the latest native. It appears that there have only been 5 forum knives on the Spyderco site.

I would have thought that somewhere down the line there would have been a Spyderco forum knife of either the Delica or Endura as kind of an homage to the flagship models. Guess that's not the case though.

Yeah I know. It just seemed that things were getting kind of tense over the latest Native so I thought maybe a diversion would help. :D

I would love to see a Stretch, Endura or Delica. I would love to see a Paramilitary but trying to think from a cost aspect maybe that one would be a bit steep.

****, I like anything that has a Spyder on it.

I vote for a FRN Native 4 or Stretch with a Gray handle (like they used on the Goddard). I would prefer the Native though. :D

Just about any would work for me but I would really love to see a UKPK with silver tweed G10 and the forum engraving done on the spine of the knife.

Damascus Persian sprint run as a forum knife would be "OH YEAH !!!!"

Realistically speaking, a mid sized knife - such as a Para or Delica or the Knife of the Year Caly 3 would be awesome and affordable.

remember the pent up demand for orange Dodo. I'm sure Spyderco can sell out a run of 600 easily.
