There's a seller on eBay that has them for $175 with four available as of this writing. I got a pair as these will disappear rather quickly.

I believe that with what happened with the orange millie, that this one will become regular production as well. I am in no hurry to pay extra to grab one. I can wait.

$174 is not extra, MSRP is 269.95 IIRC, remember it's s90v,cf,USA

Well if 249 is MSRP, then that means whole sale is 125. Plus 10 for shipping still seems high for me. Im thinking the price should be around 150 max, maybe less.

Ok, so wholesale is 135. Then I would easily pay 160 for one. There are plenty of dealers that will come in at that number or less, once it settles down a little. If it doesnt, Ill still get my numbered one. Just not willing to pay 185 for one right now.

400 piece run of a high quality knife. Personally, I thing dealers who sell something like that for ten or twenty buck over wholesale are doing themselves and Spyderco a grave disservice. It devalues the entire product line, encourages speculators, and makes even regular buyers expect all dealers to work for peanuts. Sad, really sad.

Im not asking anyone to sell it at a specific price. Just things are tight for me, and I will also be getting a numbered one. I would like to get it at the best price possible.

Wasn't singling you out, just seems there are two interrelated trends right now I find quite disturbing. There are dealers selling brand new models for barely over wholesale and, because of that, at least some here seem to feel such prices are now their due. What that does, eventually is devalue the brand.

I agree brother. Wish I had the ability to pay more, I would have missed out on a lot though if it wasnt for some of those dealers. I will be buying two of them. One to use, and my numbered one. Just trying to keep it from making me eat ramen brother.

These are numbered? Or do you mean via the collector's club?

I just got mine today 4 days after my regular manix 2 came in and i put my name on a wait list for another so i can have one as a user and one to hold on to as a back up/collector piece i kinda hope it does see full scale production though even if they cut the carbon fiber out of the equation and just use the G-10 It's a lot lighter too i love it

had to pull out the credit card for this one, just couldn't pass it up.

sad thing is, you will probably see it up for sale at the end of the month when the bills are due. :(

I'm pretty disappointed that I'll probably not get one of these. They seem more in demand than expected, and there's sure not many of them.

For sure I'd love to grab one but these surprise announcements make it hard for those on a budget. Unfortunately medical bills and food take preferance.

It Irks me.

Thanks for building it Spyderco. Eric, good job. You seem to have a lot of talent and very good taste to go along with your engineering skills. Thanks!.

More please! Joe
