Parting with my Spydie collection

To : ALL

Fiscal difficulties have lead me to this decision, sad, but what am I to do?

The Spydies I'm parting with, are NEW in box

unless otherwise noted :

Al ~ Why don't you fire off an email to the regulars of the forum showing the models your selling?

Sorry to hear about your predicament.

Alan

Dear Al, I'm so very sorry to hear that. It's an awful feeling for me, I imagine what's for you. Having to sell your collection <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> If there is ANYTHING I can do... I'll send you the Raptor schematics, maybe you can trade it for something... No charge at all, of course <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I pray that you'll pass this situation without having to part any of your knives.

How would it be if each of us were to post here with a list of the knives we are looking to buy, then ATE could email us if he has one? That would probably be allowed, wouldn't it?

Swing me an email, I'd like to see what you have. If you have something I want, we can doubtless broker a deal.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

How in the world do I look at ATE's profile to get the e-mail address and ask what he's got that I might be able to acquire?

ATE, sorry about your predicament and hope you rebound soon. Although you're selling your collection, I'm sure you'll be keeping at least one for EDC or for sentimental reasons--which Spyderco will that be? I don't mean to be nosy but I'd like to know which knife will be the "last one standing." Thanks.

To : toothed & ALL

There really isn't any "last Spydie standing"
<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I intend on keeping my "Cricket" ( of course! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) my "Meerkat", my "Calypso jr."
( micarta w/ J&L Self Defense Products logo )
and my one custom collaboration ( at least I
like to think of it as one ) "Spydercard" <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Forumites, this is merely a temporary "setback" <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I may not be able, in the near future to replace the Centofante C25
or "Shabaria" but I relish the time I had owning them. Will I continue posting? You bet! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I think, no matter what size one's
Spydie collection we ALL have something to
contribute to <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> and it's product(s) <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I wish to thank ALL the forumite(s) who(m) came
through in this dire hour, proving we are in
fact one cohesive group of people, from the
oldest to the youngest. Let us therefore
continue the business that keeps us together,
that's <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

ATE,
I am very sorry to hear of your predicament.
<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> As a long time knife collector and a short time <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> owner, I think I can begin to understand how crappy it must be to part with a collection that took so much time and effort to gather. I am glad to hear from your last post that you will be keeping at least a few <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. I am also glad that you will continue to post, as your writings on this forum have always been insightful, friendly, and helpful to relative newbies like myself. If there is anything you need, don't be afraid to ask. And let us know in the future when you are knee deep in <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s again! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
