Probably not sold out. :) The online catalog has been running behind lately, so they don't have most of the recent models listed. If you call Spyderco, they should be able to get one out to you (though at full MSRP). Wait a few days and your favorite Spyderco dealers should also have it, but at a lesser price.

This is way cool. There have been a few really nice knives come out lately, held of those in anticipation of this. Really looking forward to this blade!

Oohhh... very shiny. I wonder if this has any bearing on the possibility of a full-size manix 2 at some point...

I called knifecenter, they're not "in stock" yet. Pre-order only. That's as of 08/06/09

Back on pre-order, they were in stock. I got shipment confirmation about two hours after I ordered mine today.

Pricey indeed. This is one I'm willing to part with the $ for personally as I'm a huge fan of the original model. So for me its a pretty special piece. Or I hope it will be anyway.

KCI sold out in an hour.

But, I scored! :D

Looks awesome! Can't wait.

Ken

(Edit - also have to post Kudos... They caught a shipping charge error on my last order and credited it back today. Outstanding!)

Wow, guess I was one of the lucky few. I receive an order confirmation and the CF Manix 2 should ship tomorrow. Only reason I got one is that I have never managed to get my fingers on a PE Mini-Manix and I have always wanted one. The FFG-CF Manix 2 should fill that void nicely.

Edit: Well now I'm not sure. The order confirmation says the CF Manix 2 will ship today, but doesn't show it in stock at time of order. Guess I will just have to wait, see, and hope for the best. I'll be bummed if I don't get one, since I just sold a NIB regular Manix 2 to cover part of the cost of the CF one.

Edit Again: Yes, got the shipping confirmation. Can't wait until Monday!

I'm sure if other folks mentioned this, but ... the skeletonized liners make this Manix 2 Sprint incredibly light compared to the regular Manix 2.

Here's a question. Who's idea was it to make this a 400 piece run? Because my god this thing is impossible to get a hold of. It's been out for maybe a couple days and they're sold out everywhere.
