What is your favorite Spydie(s) for EDC?

#1

Post by KBR »

Since receiving my Military PE, it is my primary EDC because of the versatility of that plain edge. However, for times that I really mean business, I also carry my Spyderedge Endura for work carry, and my Native(once it's back from Spyderco) or Delica SE for non-work carry. And last but not least, my Spydercard 50/50 in my wallet. I like being prepared for any cutting task that may arise.

P.S.-FYI, I've also posted this topic at the Spydie forum in the Bladeforums website.

My EDC alternates between a FRN CE Jess Horn and a FRN PE Native - favoring the Jess Horn a little more

Work - aluminium Centofante (grey or blue)
Weekends - blue Chinese Folder
Evening wear - micarta Calypso Jr or CF Dragonfly.

Gotta love those flat ground blades .

As for me, it depends where I am. If I'm at school, or some other high-sheeple area, it's the Mouse. If I'm at work, or a non-sheeple area, it's an Endura 50-50.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

For the past year or so, it's been the Peter Herbst PE (w/almite scales). Very classy yet also a very functional design. AWESOME KNIFE!

My main EDC's(that do all the cutting) are my SS PE Delica, and my PE Vesuvius(blue inlay).

Lately, it's my new FRN Delica PE in VG-10. I just can't seem to find anything it won't do..the ergonomics are perfect for me and the action is as smooth as glass.

I tend to toggle between my Ayoob and Police models. No matter which is my current EDC I always carry a Calypso JR. along with it.
