StangBang wrote:wow man I really like your taste in cars! haha I have been toying with the idea of an STI or an EVO but just think I'm going to keep the GT. Something about those STI's has always attracted me... Im hoping to procharge it sometime in the future. Long tube headers and an off road xpipe are next in line for it though! :)
Thanks! I was huge into stangs ..I found pics of 2 of my last ones..I actually liked the performance red 00gt more than my 04 mach 1 lol..I had a 95 Cobra and several foxbodies as well.

Wow brother those are some sweet lookin stangs!!!! Sounds like you have had quite the collection! I love the machs man especially the black with the flat black spoilers and accents... Those look good!!!! Just curious why did you like the GT over the Mach? :) Did you have alot done to either of them?

On another note i test drove a 2007 Sti this past saturday, thing was a totally different animal! If only I could afford both :o

You got a Cayman? I seen one driving around the other day and turned to my wife. I said, "See that car, that is pure sex on four wheels."

She looks at me and says, "You didn't just say that" :D

Seriously though, that's about the hottest looking car I've even seen.

The mach was pretty soft around corners...The 2007 STi is not the same animal as 04-05....They are much softer cars with longer gearing...The guy on top gear hates the new STi but loved the older ones calling them " bar room brawlers" lol!

That's a great story! The cayman ain't the fastest or the prettiest, but you can't beat the sweet music of a torquey flat six pumping out 300 ponies just inches from your head. And throwing a midengined sports car into a hairpin turn is a life changing experience. The 05 and 06 boxster and cayman are becoming serious bargain buys these days.

Ya there totally different cars it was just crazy since I'm really use to mustangs... but it was definitely a fun car! Right on man I prefer the 04 05 styling actually even though I have not been able to drive one to tell the difference between the 06 and 07 vs the prior (performance wise). I think the 2002 Sti looks like a bug in the front lol but thats just me! I would take the 04-05 first either blue with the gold rims or black with the gold rims! :D :D I loathe the new hatchback sti's... no offense to anyone who owns/likes them I just think they look awful...
