Good call, jerome, I'd like to see the sheath too. I just got a Helle Harding and it has a simple and beautiful but also very functional leather sheath, with a plastic insert at the bottom one quarter to stop the blade (which is wicked sharp) from slicing the sheath. Will the Spyderco Bushcraft leather sheath have a plastic liner?arzh wrote:Hi

Is this still the plan? Found in an 06/07 post.
Thanks

1. a traditional bushcraft knife in 52100 steel and with a wooden handle,
2. a "NASA" version with S90V steel and Carbon Fiber handle.

I thought it was o-1, not 52100 carbon steel. Joe

It got changed from 52100 to O-1. The stated reason was O-1 is available in the country where the knife is being made, 52100 would have to be shipped. I suspect the lessons learned in making the first Mule may have factored into the decision as well. The Mastiff wrote:I thought it was o-1, not 52100 carbon steel. Joe
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.
