Spyderco Bug in SE

#1

Post by aj1985 »

Dear Sal

May I ask will the bug ever come out in SE. The reason I ask is it's a great spydie to give to individuals who otherwise never carry a knife, and I wanted to give them a SE because it cuts longer, and doesn't require sharpening any time soon. :)

Most people I give knives to usually have none of their own, and also no tools to sharpen them so I think an SE Bug would be a much better gift to knife newbies than a PE.

The solution to your problem is the ladybug-just give it to every third person to make the price difference :D . much safer locking blade and much more easy to use,and available serrated

ITs too small to be useful really, and if you SE'd the edge, you'd get one or two gullets and three points.

I bought six of them, thinking they would be big enough to engrave my business card onto, (yeah, A reduced version but still a reasonably readable version was the goal, but its too small) what is needed is a return to the 14 dollar ladybug, I would buy those by the dozen.

Thanks Sal. Couldn't hurt to ask right. Guntotin I guess your right might as well have less friends and only give out the good stuff. :)

I've given out heaps of knives to family, friends and others on forums. Ladybug is one that surprisingly receives a lot more good responses.

I think their small stature makes them more readily useable than others and thus they get carried = used more often than not.

The Bug in SE would be good though... but as mentioned, blade length with serrations means you'll only get a couple of serrations it in...... it would resemble a fork :D :p

I would love to give them out in heaps, but once they go dull they are no use any more. SE will last longer. Well hopefully once day.

hey bud so how is the little one doing.
