If you mean the Forum, why "it used to"?. I still find it enjoyable and useful.

Knifepunk:
Seems like someone hasn't given up yet. You stub your toe-keep walkin'. Don't sit down and fuss over it. Everyone's gonna try to get a rise out of you man. So long as you keep firing back, everyone will still see you as a problem. Just let 'em be.

My best advice would be to either sit back and take it until you can show you are man enough to be treated respectfully. I have yet to see you earn that respect, and obviously several other forum memebers feel the same.

Your other option is to go away for a while. Then come back either under this s/n or a new one and not be a dick, ever again. If you handle yourself correctly then either way you can be an upstanding member of the forum... I've seen it happen before, but it just takes time and patience on your part, as you are the one that has to prove you can do this to ALL of the people here.

One question. Why does it seem that every time knifepunk shows up it gets crappy. I've not seen most other threads go that way on this forum. We usually just have a useful exchange of ideas, without profanity and insults. I've got lots more thoughts on this matter but I will withhold them.

Jaxon,
The person you are talking about is a TROLL!! When he arrived a week or so ago all he wanted to do was make trouble using fowl language and being abusive to the other forumites. I believe he is using several names on this forum and sit's around answering his own post's because he is so hingry for attention.

Raden,

Very interesting. I hadn't even thought of that angle. But a troll by any other name is still a troll.

Jaxon

Everybody's got to be someplace. But we don't need trolls around this place.

look knifepunk. your right. you havent said anything ofending for a while. but when you first came here you said some very understandably hurtful things. its not that we are all obsesed with spydercos. we all do have lives. but to go onto a spyderco forum and diss spyderco sounds very troll like. doesnt mean that thats what you were emplying it means it is what was assumed. the way i see it the best thing you can do is join the forum with another name and start over. no more ofensive material just spyderco. and as others have said dont say that your delica broke so it sucks say that your delica broke and you need some help. everyone loves to help someone else. no one minds some constuctive critisism. just dont say that all spydercos are crap and so are their fans. say that you personaly dont like the delca because the handle was not strong enough for you. ask if anyone has had the same problem and if the ss model is stronger. we dont want to lose your opinons just your blunt way of expressing them. (just my two cents)

i once jumped from a burning building with nothing but my spyderco and shorts. in a pinch i would gladly take the spyderco over the shorts

KP,

If I can quote a song, "take it easy".

You asked, "what am i supposed to let them walk all over me ? and sit around and watch? heck no".

In a word NO! However, when somebody tries to provoke or "dis" you, they are the ones who look bad. Not doing anything is the appropriate response. Responding might make you feel better, but it almost always makes you look bad.

I grew up in a tough neighborhood in Brooklyn. In fact, it's not too far from where Sal grew up. A comment like

"...except your mom"

might get you beaten or cut. Lighten up!

They find a murdered body every sixty three hours in the 75th police precinct. I count my blessings that I no longer live there. There are plenty of nasty people out there. I suggest you avoid those folks and look for the positive in situations and people.

You obviously have good taste in knives, so stay focused on that.

In addition to integrating weapon systems for Cruisers and Destroyers, I'm also a part time musician. Music and knives are both good things, stick with them.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!
