Hawkbill Owners - A Request

#1

Post by bohica1998 »

I recently bought my first hawkbill (notice I said "first"), A SS Harpy SE. I love it, although it is not as large as I had thought it was.

Now I have a problem.

Not sure whether to go larger or smaller for the next one. I would like some comparison pics to get some idea of size compared to the Harpy to help me decide which one to get next. I would love to see a pic showing as many as possible in the same pic, but the Harpy next to even one other model will help. The more pics, the merrier. Would like to see as many models as possible. :D

Thanx in advance for your help.

yablanowitz is the thin clip merlin you have G-2 steel or is there no steel marked on the blade? Take care.

It is marked G2, as is the wide FRN clip model that I have. I seem to recall my barrel bolt Merlin being ATS-55, but I could be wrong there.

Wow! Some great pics here folks! Thanx.

I didn't realize that any of the Byrd line of knives were that big. I really like that one above it and the top one in the last pic. That's the spyderhawk, right? I think that one just made my "must have" list.

And yes, that Civilian IS a scary looking blade. Probably too scary looking for me to carry without some sheeple getting upset.

What is this C.O.T.C.O., and where do I sign up? :D
