forum knife for 2003

I am patiently waiting for my Vesuvius. I feel its time to start the next one. I have always been fond of Crickets. Some of you have seen the Ying/Yang or Recupero Crickets. Since the Cricket fits well in anyones pocket, male or female my vote is for the Cricket. I vote for red Carbon Fiber scales both PE or SE with Boron coating. RR

RR,

I don't think they could do red CF. The Carbon Fiber cloth is black. I could be wrong but I would be surprised. Anybody else have thoughts?

A CF Cricket or a CF Navigator would be my choices!

I think it needs to be something in CF.

I agree with Spyderholic that it is too soon to start thinking about another Forum knife. However, as he said, when the time comes it would need to be a knife that is manufactured in Golden to allow the necessary changes to be made to a short run. The Bladeforums blue G10 Native, the Spyderco Forum Military, and the recent Vesuvius were all made in Golden.

I vote for a change, how about a fixed blade. I would like to see it be the drop point Featherweight, with white macarta inserts. The inserts could have scrimshaws on them. My vote would be the likeness of Bill Moran on one side, and Sal on the other. The blade would of corse remain VG-10, but be highly polished. This would be a hunting/outdoors knife anyone would be proud to own! RKBA!
