Spyderco Calypso Jr. SS models
I finally got both the plain edge and the serrated edged versions. These 2 knives are heavy and have almost no resemblence to the other Calypso Jrs. except for the shape. The clips are polished as are the scales and the clip uses small screws as opposed to the large screws on the Micarta models. This is a massive knife for it's size and the blade closes with a thud instead of a click.
These knives have probably been used as work horses as NIB models are rare.
The PE version that I got from ebay was pretty much trashed until I spent several hours on the blade and scales and then sent it back to Spyderco for re-edging and scale buffing. I tried to buff the scratches from the clip but the spyder imprint grew faint. Turns out that the current Harpy clip is identical and I have one on the way. Should be a like new knife with no box (of course). Does anyone else have any of these SS Calypso Jr.s? Just wondering how rare they are.

That is pretty sweet. I really like the all SS models.
I can't remember but I gave my younger brother a early Delica SS or Calypso Jr 14 years ago.He dosen't carry it because he feels it is a little large. He keeps it in his kitchen in his junk drawer.Next time I visit I'm going to see what it is.

I have a PE one. IIRC, I got it, and a couple other discontinued knives as "new old stock" from John F Jensen about five years ago. He had a few pieces of the SE version for quite a while after that, I just wasn't really into serrated edges. Like you said, it's a totally different knife from the Micarta version, or the FRN one, and each of those has its own unique feel as well.

RE: Harpy clip for C52P
I got the clip today from Spyderco and although it will work on a lot of knives including the C52's, it is 1/4 inch shorter than the original. Will have to go with the original that I polished the scratches from.
