I have a standard Delica 4 (black FRN/VG-10) with CE, and have been extremely interested in a Delica Wave for a long time. I found one for a pretty good price, and just shot off an email to Tom Krein about the possibility of a full flat regrind. If everything goes right, I'll have a stupidly sharp Wave in my hands fairly soon. :D

I have a D4W. It has been my EDC for about 10, almost 11 months now. I really have nothing bad to say about it. Maybe get it flat ground? The blade shape is great, compared to the standard D4s. Anything in particular you want to know about it?
Im not good at sharpening, even with a sharpmaker. How get your blade good can your blade with an edge pro system? - Bladeforums user

The SE versions of the D4W and E4W have unique serrations that are shallower and wider than the ones on the regular SEs. They cut more like PE, and don't snag as easily. My E4W is my favorite SE :spyder: .

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

I have both PE and SE waved D4s. Mine see most pocket time in the summer. The shorts I wear have a very relaxed fit and witout a tucked in shirt underneath, it doesn't allow for my preferred IWB carry position. On the top of a low pocket, the waved D4 is just as quick as my regular carry position.
