Heading to Johnson City, TN this weekend...
The gf and I are going from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Johnson City this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone might have some input as to how much of a detour it would be to stop at New Graham knives on the way there. Thanks a bunch.

Was tempted to stop there last year on my way to Blade. Might do it this year. :D IIRC, if you're running 81 at all, it would be about 30 - 40 minutes north, off 77.

i lived about an hour from johnson city... a trip to new graham was just under three hours, if i remember correctly... and well worth it. if you're headed south/west anyway, may was well take the detour. even if it adds on a couple hours, it'll be well worth your time... especially if you've never been there before. bluefield can be a bit confusing... there's a VA side, and a WV side.Chris Mapp wrote:The gf and I are going from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Johnson City this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone might have some input as to how much of a detour it would be to stop at New Graham knives on the way there. We were able to stop in to New Graham on our way back home, and I must say..WOW! I definitely felt like a kid in a candy store. I think they had just about every Spyderco in the current line-up, as well as a few discontinued models. They pretty much had a wide selection of most of the major brands. In the end, Spydergirl ended up buying a BladeTech Mouse with purple scales, and I picked up a Purple Ladybug (for her) and a Kershaw Scallion in 110V. All in all, it was a great place, and I hope we get a chance to stop by there again in the future.
