G-10 Color!

#1

Post by Toad310 »

This Orange G-10 is wonderful!

Now, some other colors I would love to see:

Pink (Like the Delica)
Dark purple
Bright yellow (Salt)
Flo. Green
Blue like the DoDo came in

I guess I should be careful what I wish for, this could cause storeage problems in our house.

Agree, I love orange on some of the knives. I love my UKPK and Ladybug.
I would love to see some knives in dark green like on Lil T.

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf"

Is the orange G-10 hard to keep clean? I don't have any orange G-10 handled knives but I have read several posts on here of people asking for advice on how to clean their orange G-10. If it is anything like the blue, I can imagine it gets pretty grimy.

A yellow Millie would look so cool!

My orange Millie got scummed up but a toothbrush with some regular dish soap and water cleaned it right up.

I have only had it a day, and need to start using it.

This is how I like to clean them as well.

My Lord:

I have never tried this, however, I am open to the method.
After all, it is just hot water, and the dishwasher solution.

Anyone know the science between G-10, and Cascade?

I have no worries with the metal parts.

I would put drops of Tuf-Glide on all the screws, action, lanyard assembly and clip. Then wipe the blade with the Tuf-Cloth. Just like I do when I clean it in the sink.

And now back to topic...man, A yellow military! Can you imagine?

Oh I'm imagining alright. *wipes drool off chin*

Please Sal? :D

I think it'd be even cooler to have a FRN handled one.

that would be pretty expensive because the back spacer/liners(if there were any) would also have to be H1.. I think?

And the washers and clip and screws, yes we know. All either Ti or H1.

Worth it? I think so. :D
