Nice review Sherpa. You've managed to twist my arm a little here. When I get the Rock Lobster hopefully it will fulfill that need I have at work for large utility blade with a "safe" tip as I'm often working in confined spaces filled with too many people.
A lot my work tasks are similar to yours, although I do a lot of food prep too.
Personally for me the lack of thumb ramp & jimping might take some getting used to though. This will also be my first Spyderco liner lock knife, hopefully this will help out with my liner lock rehabilitation :) .

Thanks
Jeremy

Thanks for the positive comments, I was a little nervous about my first review.

Jens this is one sweet knife! I'm glad you and Spyderco were able to work this out and get such a great design at a price many people can afford. I've got an Outbreak 67 but it is way too nice to beat up at work :D

Jeremy as far as food prep goes, I have a feeling this knife would be sweet. I keep wanting to chop up some crisp vegetables with it.

Nice review, Sherpa! Thanks - that knife looks like it is begging to be used. Reviews like yours really help sell knives, in my opinion. It's a bit expensive, but I'd sure like to have one... we'll see ;)

- best wishes, Jazz.

Very nice review. I like the "day in the life of" perspective.

Thanks!
