We just released a Sprint Run of the Swick in CPM-S30V. You can find it here... http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=401. This is a limited run of 500 pieces, it does NOT include a sheath. This is only going to be available through our Outlet Store (SFO, through the above link) at the special price of $39.95.

pretty cool. It kind of reminds me of a Raptor claw. Is this available at the SFO or only through the link?

I may have to get one of these as the new Swick appears to have a round Spyder hole whereas the original Swick did not. I like it!

Horray!

Been waiting for these to come out for ages now. :) Just ordered two on the net and also had a chat to a lady at SFO on the phone. A big thank-you to the lady, I didn't catch your name but cheers!

Sweet deal. Though I don't understand why it comes without the sheath...
I can't have a sheath-less blade, can I?!

I'm gonna wait until the forum knife is announced because I may just order the Swick & forum knife at the same time.

This physically pains me that I am super poor at the moment and can not afford to buy it. I have been waiting for an opportunity to grab up another Swick ever since I purchased the original.

Lets hope those 500 can last a few weeks until I can scrap together a few bucks. Man that is an incredible deal. I would have thought the same at double the price. Man I am drooling.

Thank you for the phonecall last night. I like the swick better than the spot I could never find. I've ordered it now. :D

Unless the forum knife is released in the next 10 days I think you're overly optimistic.

Aside from the addition of the trademark hole, are there any differences between the original Swick and the sprint Swick? Have the ergonomics changed? Or is it essentially unchanged?

sheath?

#19

Post by gilliu »

Was wondering what folks ordering the Swick sprints are doing for sheaths? Is there a source of ready made ones? A good tutorial for making sheaths? I have found step-by-step instructions for leather sheaths, but would prefer a harder material.
