i'm thinking about blackening my military blade does any one know a good cheep place to have this done

Go to your local office supply store and pick up a magic marker and blacken it yourself. Bout as cheap as you can get! And easy to fix if it scrapes off.

Just one thing. If you do this, don't post any pictures. We don't want to see it.

If you want something real send it off to bodycote. it is $25 and it is awesome.

Yes, marauder has it right. Bodycode will do the boron carbide coating for about that amount. You will get a pretty much bulletproof finish that looks great. Nothing else you might will get you near that level. You can try gun blue, but it looks like **** when you are done.
