Good place for Mule materials?

#1

Post by DMgangl »

I have a couple new Mules and and going to put handles on one and probably make leather sheaths for both of them. I have looked around all my local shops and haven't found any good materials to make them with.
So I was wondering if there are any reputable places online that I can find, G10 or micarta scales and the hardware to bolts them on with? Also were can I find leather and other materials to make a sheath with? If there is one website that has all the things I need and is reputable that would be awesome. But if I have to buy from several places I will do what I have to.

Thanks

DM,
I've done business with Texas Knifemakers and can recommend them, good service with nice selection. Up in Canada we have Ranger Original who is great, although he doesn't do leather.

I think Texas Knife at http://www.texasknife.com has leather, but I prefer to send 'em to Vadim at Vess, he just does a better job than I ever will on my 100th sheath.
