Riding AMTRAK w/3 ( update )

To : ALL

Dearest forumites, I can safetly say that,

discretion being the better part of valor,

I carried not only my C 29BK "Cricket", Ladybug & NEW C 39BK "Mini Dyad" w/ no

problem(s) from anyone ; the passengers were

enamored at the utility of the "Ladybug" one

conductor even liked the "AMTRAK blue" FRN

handles. As for the "Cricket" & "Mini Dyad"

they were kempt 'sub rosa' as we say in the

law profession ( more on the "Mini Dyad" in

my other posting <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>); about the only paranoid

on board was some silly girl that commented

about the lack of metal detectors at the

station(s), I pointed out her folly of the

fact that a "terrorist" would have little

use of a hijacked train. Thus it could not

be driven into something like the WTC or other national landmark <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>, otherwise a

good time was had by ALL other than a 1 1/2

hr delay due to a passenger manifest that

was lost between stops <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. A special note :

Bring your own food / beverage(s) as the

AMTRAK folks gouge the **** out of one for

these. <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I've been on Amtrak only once and must say that it was a very enjoyable ride. I used my knife to cut fruit and it did not bother anyone. I also brought along my radio scanner and listened to all the radio talk between the conductors, engineers and stations.

Thanks Mr Smith! <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> Haven't really decided where as yet. But it'll definitely include stops at knifeshows.. I'm saving every dime and penny now! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

FYI, NJ Transit's Atlantic City Express, only has security at the AC station. Even then, a couple of the cops there carry <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s!!<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

So I don't see any problem there either!!!

Still, remember!! If you decide to run around naked, covered in green jello, swinging a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>Endura over your head and giving off war whoops. Then YES!!! The police WILL throw your @$$ in jail.

Very little gray in that fact!!

PS>>>>> I just came back from Atlantic city. The NJ transit cop there did confirm about the green jello and war whoops thingy. You could do 5 years minimum in Rahway!!
