"C" in SKU stands for Clipit, right?
The Bug hasn't a clip.
Why the "C133" for the Bug?
Appreciate your answer .. you know I'm interested in details
:D

Well observed, Chris. I thought I ask for for the latest growth, the Bug. Now we have two questions ... and one answer maybe. We will see.

Have no inside dope on this, but in both cases the reason might be to avoid the possibility even worse confusion which would have resulted from using the format used for the Ladybug and Jester. In the Kiwi's case K was already being used by Kitchen Sharps, and for the Bug, B had been pre-empted by Spyderco's Balisongs.
Then again, there have been other examples of "clip-free clipits" as well, and that logic would not hold for them. Neither the FRN Dyad Jr. and Micro Dyad had a clip. There are also two models, the SnapIt and Remote Release, whiche feature attachement systems different enough from the pocket clip to make their use of the C prefix somewhat questionalble as well.
So perhaps the old reliable "seemed like a good idea at the time" might be true here.

For the Bug, the "C" stands for "cute". :)
Follow the mushin, but pay it no heed.

I think Paul's explanation is about as good as any. The wide variety of models does offer confusion in model number designation.
It is our goal to be consistent and logical. :o
