WOW.
My heart leapt when I saw that....
What a smart design.
And no production company but Spyderco could pull it off.

Ooooh Lordy! A functional looking overall shape, large opening hole and a framelock to boot!
These days nothing gets me excited too much with knives anymore. Sure there are nice designs and models out there but this one, dang! Been a long time since I got THIS rush from a new knife!

It's going to be the most anticipated knife, for me, if indeed Spyderco will decide to put it in production. I just hope the blade is going to be relatively thick, and the Titanium will be spared from this one...
I love perrin's bowie design.

Sal, or Spyderco crew. Any plans to fix how the blade sticks out when closed? I feel like moving the stop pin forward and the pivot pin up a smidge I feel like it would improve the look closed, as well as the fix a possible sharp edge to snag a hand on.

Guys, this PPT folder is stunning. This modified bowie shape is looks truly magnificent ( please don't make it more leaf like!) I love both the flat and hollow grind version. Those pics are addictive... I kept having to come back and check this thread every day :) .... Now I wonder what a larger version would be like....

Very nice piece. I couldn't help notice the similarity with the Lum Chinese. I'm glad someone else has seen it too

Boy am I glad I ordered my custom PPT from Sacha a month ago!
I'm guessing all this exposure's gonna boost his waiting list a notch.
It's funny because I mentioned to him that this would make a great Spydie production piece.
So he kinda told me, off the record, that it was gonna happen!

I love the look of this knife!
Also - this is the first lanyard I've seen that's really caught my eye. Does anybody know how / where to get one (or is it a custom tie).
Appreciate the incredible photography too, T-Wan.

Thanks, Terry

I seem to recall Sal mentioning recently that Fred Perrin had submitted 3 different concept/designs to him. I really hope that this one makes it to production. This looks simply stunning. While its likely to end up being a pricey little number, I'd bet it will be worth every cent.
