Hey, I can't for the life of me remember what this type of knife is called and it's driving me insane! Anyone know?

I always called them funny folders or swing blades. I don't even know if there is a real name for them.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

I thought I was the only one who hadn't thrown away his S&W Funny Folder. :eek: :D

There was a small company in Berthoud CO that produced a knife similar and called it a paratroopers knife. The CO made knife had a sliding lock ring to lock the blade open or closed...Take Care...Ed

I used to have one of these as well, but it was accidentally disposed in the garbage bin by my little boy (when he was very little).

Would you believe that those S&W were actually made in Romania, by the same factory that makes AK-47?

Hi Guys
I have one of the S+W folders except mine has a double edged dagger type blade. Bought in my home town in the early 1980s. How it got to New Zealand I have no idea

I remember in mid 60 a small pen knife made by sheffiled, Uk. Exactly the same in picture but with the internal part of the handle in black metal. Alhought flimsi it was non bad at all as an office knife.
