disassemble pacific salt?
I would kinda like to disassemble my pacific salt to clean/oil things...or is this knife not meant to be taken apart / is this not necessary? Do you just knock out the pins to take it apart?

Welcome to the forum!
On the bright side, there really isn't any reason to take that knife apart. If is has gunk in it, you can wash it out with detergent, dissolve it with chemicals (Gun Scrubber or Starting fluid works well), boil it in soapy water and blast it with compressed air, or any combination of the above. Then put a drop of oil on the pivot and you are good to go.

I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.
I just saw Short Circuit (again, don't know why...) over the weekend and this popped into my head:

LOL !!!! I do wish that something like a Pacific Salt was made with screw construction and G-10, with an open structure like a Paramilitary. Mabe a Titanium compression lock or something...
