Hey all. I got a little Harbor Freight 1x30 belt sander from Santa so I decided to do some tinkering. A while back I modded a Byrd Pelican to a Warncliffe so I thought I'd try it on my Meadowlark Rescue. I did the steel removal with the sander and finished and polished by hand. It only took about half an hour. I have thought about taking the angle of the nose down a bit more, but I'll try it like this for a while and see how I like it. Here are some pics.
