Forum scrolling problem

#1

Post by rickacp »

Hi, Myself and at least one other are having a problem scrolling on the forum. When looking on the forum (the main site and everywhere else, even while typing this message) and I scroll up or down the page keeps scrolling up or down for a short time. I would like to be able to scroll and stop where I want to stop instead of having the page keep scrolling (both up and down). My computer does not do this anywhere else just on the Spyderco forum. This only occurs while using Firefox and not IE. And no, I don't want to use IE. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick

Reboot and the problem should go away.

Try this:
go to: Tools - Options - Advanced Options ->
disable fields: "always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages" and "use smooth scrolling" (and if these don't help, you can also try disabling "use autoscrolling" but my guess is that former two should do the trick).

I tried the "options" settings and it worked. Thank you all so much for your help. It is very nice looking through the forums again.
