My two favorite :spyder: are the Military and the Police...in that order.
But, due to cost and availability I have long carried the Endura. The first one I got was an Endura 98 in 98 and I thought it was fantastic. I had also used the 1st gen Endura and liked it.... A few years went by and I wondered if if the Endura's would come out with newer details/updates on them. Well I guess Spyderco felt the same and addressed our needs.

I think now, even though I like the Millie and Police the best (Still), that the Endura is the best knife overall (at least for me). It just covers all the bases.
It's ergonomics, construction, blade steels, options (like wave, black blade, all three edges, sprint runs) and its cost put this knife way ahead of any other company's flagship working knife.
JMO, though....

I'm carrying and using my two faves these days as we speak...My Endura 2 SE/ATS55 and my SS Endura 1/AUS6. No DB dents on those, and they're kinda outdated, but they are broken in so well, and the edges take no time on my 204, so they are a pleasure to carry.
I ghetto waved them as well :D

I have a lot of knives from low to high, production to custom. This said, something needs to be cut, hacked, shredded, I grab the Endura I just got this week and it blows me away. I got the white one, and it is cooler than cool.

The Endura is a great all-around knife. I have a white one, but I'm gonna be getting a green ZDP since this sprint run knife is too pretty for me to use; I'm gonna have to get rid of it -_-

I have had a Endura 4 SS CE for about 3 years. I carried it for almost 3 years. While I don't carry it that much anymore I just ordered 2 today both FRN black one SE and one PE. This way I now have a knife to go along with my Tasman while at work.

I'm very sorry to say that the ergo's of the Endura 4 do nothing for me :( . The only thing that I like about the E4 is the fact that the fully serrated blade is TRUELY fully serrated. To the very tip ;)

The Endura 3 feels a lot better in my hand. Top of the bill is the Endura/SE first generation.

I haven't been carrying an Endura for over a year.

If I go that big I'd rather carry one of my Millies :)

My only complaint with the FRN Enduras is the thick saber grind, and resulting thick edge. Other than that, I think they are excellent knives. I have a re-ground ZDP E4 and a CE E4W. I'm debating on what to do grind-wise with the E4W.
