utility knife
A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Calypso
jr. FRN PE. I have never seen anything that
cuts like that. Now I'm looking for something
bigger with the same performance. Has anybody got some experience with a Military or a Moran drop point ?

Depending on what you want to spend, here are a few ideas to consider:
1. SS Police
2. Military
3. Starmate
4. Calypso
5. SS Endura
Of course, the Calypso Jr. is a great "utility" model, so it kind of depends on what size of knife you are looking for too. Just make sure it says Spyderco on the blade and you can't go wrong!

I've been carrying the Military everyday since I purchased it five years ago... Excellent knife with lots of belly. Don't let its simple appearance fool you. The Millie packs is plenty! Its a high-performance knife that never quits!
Mmmmm... Drop point Moran eh? Well, you can't go wrong on picking this fixed blade! Its one of the best Spydies I've ever handled in the field. The VG-10 steel gives you a bang for your buck!

If it's cuttin' you want then there is only one knife in the
entire Spyderco that will match the little Calypso. That is
it's bigger brother the Large Calypso. This is an absolutly
scary cutter. The large is the only knife I own I won't "play"
with. Been cut to many times.
If you can't find one then ........get an Endura with the Vg-10
blade it's a close second.
