Cuts...
Cuts...
Do any of you have any good <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>cut stories. My Rookie just bit my finger, that booger is SHARP. I don't have the 204 but a tungsten V sharpener. It seems to do the job very nicely. I can get it shaving sharp on it.... Back to cuts. I was playing around with the blade open and it touched my finger. A couple minutes later I saw blood... Oh well, cuts happen.

Back in the end of Feb...
I got back from a 1 week "citizenship" tour with cadets. I was KNIFE-LESS for 1 WEEK!
Sitting at home watching TV, flipping my Calypso jr lt(DUH?!) back and forth from forward to reverse grip. I've done it for a long time(since I got my Delica I was doing it). Well, my index finger didn't hit the choil, but tapped the blade. I flipped it another few times, then put it away.
Then I notice a thin line of blood running down my hand.
Took about 2 days to close up completely.
<img src=http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/372fcedb ... 8A88UxWudf> We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare... <img src=

I was cutting a coupon out of an ad the other day with my pink cricket. After I was done, and as I was closing the blade, I felt the blade againt the tip of my middle finger. No big deal, so I thought. I then looked at my finger and saw that it was bleeding. I opened the cricket back up and saw a small piece of my finger tip stuck to the side of the blade. Boy did that sucker bleed. I had to stick my finger in my mouth to keep from bleeding all over the store until I could find the band-aids. I never even felt the blade cutting the finger. Went through 3 band-aids before it stopped bleeding. I guess that I'm going to have to watch out for the full moons now too, like Kahz.

This isn't a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> cut oh well.....
One time I was cutting open a box with my bucktool, and I had one hand on the box and one on the knife, and the blade sliced though the cardbord and into my finger, it took about 45 min for it to stop bleeding.<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

The little one's bite too!!
I have a Ladybug on my keyring. I had just left a music store after buying a new CD. I started the car and then tried to open the protective wrapper on the CD. Failing to do so I opened my Ladybug on my keychain hanging from the ignition and cut open the wrapper. A few miles of cruising to the new tunes I came to a stop light. Lifted my foot off the gas and jammed my leg right into my Ladybug. She let go when I put my foot on the brake and then the blood stain came through my pants. **** those little Ladybugs can bite!

My favorite "cut by a knife" story happened when I was about 18. Me and a bud drove to a pop festival in Louisianna near New Orleans on our motorcycles.
On the way we met these 2 girls, and gave them a ride.
At one point we were driving through a small town and one of the girls wants to buy a pocket knife. We go into a hardware store and they have a large display case full of knives.
She finds one that she likes the looks of and asks the clerk to pull it out of the case.
"Not very sharp?" she said quizically as she drew the blade across her thumb. Just one second later her thumb is squirting blood all over the place.
She bought the knife and we drove on.

VW- How'd your knife course go a while back? I'm curious as to if the Forum's tips were useful to you.
Glasshartt- Yep, avoid full moons. Never go near drains. Most of all, never, ever go near lightbulbs, you'll be toast! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

S & S,
Thanks for the info. I'll be really careful around those bare bulbs. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
