Wow. I travel light compared to you people!

All I have is my Endura, a cell phone, and my wallet. Throw in my keys, a few talismans I always carry and some pocket change, and there's my total loadout.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Do you only use 1 to cook? Carve a turkey with a paring knife, butter your bread with a cleaver?

-The Delica is my beater, just some things you don't want to subject other knves to. Including other users...
-Calypso jr lt is for around non-knife ppl
-SS Dragonfly is always on me, 24/7(yes the inner pocket in my shorts is it's night spot)
-Cricket is a weekend carry(friday 4-sunday 12pm-ish)
-Swiss-tech gets used for the screwdrivers
-Multi-tool is an EDC all the time
-BearClaw is for those things that a fixed blade is just better for(ie prying)
-The minitool is for any paper cutting during class, they don't like the lound click of the dragonfly or the fact I even have it on me)
-The one around my neck is just sentimental value, as well as a bit of decoration. 13 yrs in my possession, as old as my father...

Midget:
You are absolutley right. Carrying over half a dozen knives does not make any sense at all for anybody. The weak kitchen analogy does not stand up. How about the "just in case" crap. OK, some bad stuff, goes down, suddenly you need a knife! But which one!! While well knived, (a knife in every pocket, neck, boot, orfice, etc.) he ponders which is the most appropriate for this particular emergency. Schazam, he is in ICU with an x-ray that the doctors are also pondering as his vitals slowly move towards flatline.

I Agree. I don't understand why anyone would need to carry so many knives with them. I carry one big and one small, and that's enough for any job.
carrying so many knives also increases your chance of losing one or more of your beloved spydies, and also, i'd love to see you explain yourself to a cop when he/she questions your need to carry so many! or if you're accused of shoplifting spydies.. byebye spydie collection! ;-P
