Composite shot of various Spydercos clipped in right front pocket...

Image

All photos were taken at the same distance and angle, so relative sizes should be reasonably accurate. Color, both of the clip and the handle obviously make a great deal of difference in visibility.

Top Row: Native IV - Native - Stretch II - Military -ATR Bottom Row: Sage RIL - Caly III = Calypso Jr. - Delica IV - Native III - Szabofly

Do you own a Sage, Paul (Don't remeber that right now and no time to research:rolleyes :) ? If yes, could you add one to this comparison?

Don't own one, do have one visiting right now, the RIL version at the bottom left. :D Imagine the current version would ride the same, only difference should be color.

Very cool composite Paul.

I have just one question...

Where in the world did you find all those Spydies with clips still intact?

Just curious, cause as far as I know, non of your's have clips. :D :D :D

Thanks Chuck. :) Honest answer: a few of them are not mine, including the two on loan from Sal. The rest are either "safe queens" that I keep in their factory configuration or "spares" that have yet to be stripped down for action. ;) :D Might add there's one Spyderco which is in all those shots, but can't be seen. ;)

Gotta be a Kiwi!

I like the clipped in pocket shots. Very cool how you've done a series of these, all with consistent camera positioning, lighting, etc.

I took an inpocket shot with several Spydies a few years ago. I was trying to highlight some variety between various models I owned. Here it is again.

These are the Cricket, Almite Walker, JD Smith, Mariner, and CF Delica.

Excellent post Deacon.

Nice pictures. I ended doing a similar study in this discussion:

I think the "exposure" of the knives is an interesting subject.

Note: I'm not sure if that's the best way to reference a pervious thread.

Paul,

Very nice. I enjoyed that.

Is the black clip on the bottom row a Calypso Jr (VG-10)? Looks like the Military is not shoved down as far as it could be (not being critical, just noticed).

Lastly, is the top left the Stretch 2? If so that thing rides awesome in the pocket.
