New International Shipping for SFO

#1

Post by TazKristi »

We've been working diligently to try and solve issues with international shipping. I wanted to make you aware of the changes we've made here. These are effective immediately and will apply to all international orders for Spyderco and BaliYo. This, like anything else we do, is a work in progress. So please feel free to share your experiences and feedback. I think this is the best option we can present though.

International Shipping Schedule
Shopping Cart Total: $0-$99 - Shipping/Handling Charge $25
Shopping Cart Total: $100-$399 - Shipping/Handling Charge $35
Shopping Cart Total: $400 and higher - Shipping/Handling Charge $50

Shipments will be via USPS (yes, US Postal Service) International Priority Mail. Please be aware, we will have limited tracking capabilities. Tracking once it leaves the US is dependent upon the postal services outside the US and their ability to provide it. However, this will completely eliminate UPS Brokerage Fees.

Again, these charges will apply on both Spyderco.com and BaliYo.com orders.

Hope this helps!

Kristi

Think this will please a lot of folks Kristi. Imagine a lot of them have already turned in for the night, but it will cause a bunch of smiles in the morning.

You aren't wrong on either count but some of us have the joys of a night shift. ;)

Good news! Thanks for offering these shipping options and I've had good experiences with USPS. I'm sure the SFO can expect a few more orders with these options.

RIGHT ON! This is great news and very welcome. I am very impressed with the United States Postal Service :) (Canada Post pales in comparison :( ) and I think the new SFO rates are very reasonable. Good move, Spyderco. Thank you. :) :) :)

Thanks Kristi, that is good news. I've brought in many packages through USPS and the service has always been very reliable and fast. Only problem now is that the Aussie dollar has dropped so much it may be a while before I can afford to buy anything :( . I don't suppose you can do anything about that, can you :) ?

cheers,
clay

Hi,

Thank-you for doing this. It'll make the mules that I'm hanging out for a little bit cheaper.

Good work.

Great news! The old charge made me hesitate a few times, but now I guess I'm in. Thank you so much! Gotta go to the SFO immediately...

palehorse,
Shopping with SFO would be purchasing anything from our website or our BaliYo.com site. SFO is our Outlet store and they handle all online orders.
