30% OFF BIN on Ebay using paypal

#1

Post by tonydahose »

i go on another forum every once in awhile http://www.slickdeals.net and i saw this thread about live.com it is through microsoft and they are giving 30-35% off anything you buy using the bin option and paying for it with paypal. i wasnt too sure about it but it looks completely legit so i figured i would try it with a phoenix since i wanted one since i saw the prototype. first you have to type in live.com then type in wii for the search just because the first thing that pops up is the live search cash back as pictured below
Image

click on that and this takes you to ebay with wii in the search button (i was already signed in so you might have to if you arent) in the ebay search type in whatever spydie you are looking at..or anything for that matter...it has to be a buy it now option, this doesnt work on auctions. so i typed in phoenix and bought it...the ms rebate was there and when i confirmed it i took a picture for you guys

you need to complete the transaction within 60 minutes of going from the live.com to ebay site and i think there is a limit of 6 tranactions per ebay account. you have to open up a cashback account (it will show up in your ebay messages on how to do so) and then you can transfer the money into your paypal account they have to give it to you within 60 days but most people said it did it within a week or two. the thread from slickdeals is below if you want to research it yourself. hope this helps everybody out. it was usually 8% so i would jump on it while it is at 30%. so if this all works out in the end i just bought a new phoenix for $138.71 delivered. :D

edit: i also used my CC to pay through paypal and it still worked so if you get a cashback on the CC you could save money there too.

Thanks, ebay is dangerous as is for me, and now you tempt me with this. :) I may pick up a Phoenix as well.

Thanks for posting this tony, I'm new to the forums(1st post, been browsing arround the past several weeks though), friend of "Drod" from work.

Saw this post, and took the financial plunge and bought two new spydies with the discount. PE Millie with Digtal Camo scales and a PE ZDP-189 Delica, and saved $60! Can't beat that. I'm new to knife collecting (quality knives that is) and only been buying them the past month or so, can't tell you how much I love the spydercos, I'm up to 6 spydies, 2 byrds and a sharpmaker...I know, alot for a newbie, but gotta spend this overtime money somehow :D

Now I have have two :spyder: that WERE on my future wish list, just couldn't pass up the savings  Thanks again!

do a search on it..i was leary too and if it turns out for the worse i was still going to get the knives that i bought anyway. looks like it is limited to 3 transactions per ebay account with a max of $250 (dont know if that is per transaction or overall) it looks like msn is doing it to lure people away from google and they get more money from advertisers because people actually bought stuff and not just clicking which is how google charges advertisers.

it looks like it posted to my msn account...now i just have to wait 59 more days...sorry for the crappy resolution but thats how it came out. they make you wait 60 days from the date of purchase so you dont return the item and keep their cash....i read that one guy was selling his stuff to another one of his ebay accounts and pocketing the cash...lol there is always a scam going .

Oh hi.

I dunno about this. I think I'll hold off a little while and see if all this come to fruition.
