Gift For Sal... Pics

#1

Post by TazKristi »

As promised, here are a few pictures of the gift given to Sal...

If I translated it correctly, I believe the inscription reads... "Leading the way with deeds."

Either you translated correctly or we were all wrong. ;)
It sounded like the perfect inscription for Sal. :D

That is a very nice and useful gift that I am sure he will treasure.

I thought the Inscription was Latin for Open Here . :D

Wow! That's very nice and a most generous gift for Sal. I like how its custom-made wooden box shared strong resemblances to the Sharpmaker's and 9/11 Knife's boxes. Outstanding job to all those members who made this happen! Thanks for sharing these pictures as well!

Thanks for the photos!!
Yes you have the inscription correct. I as well have always enjoyed fine pens, however I have never had the liberty of owning one that nice. It was quite tempting during the time I had it to use it :D but alas I refrained. :D

It was fun to be a part of and I am glad that Sal enjoyed his gift and that the whole spyder crew got a nice surprise at their morning break. Thanks again to Brad for the delivery and pics.

+1 on all that. Will add a big thanks to Tony for dreaming this up, organizing it, and for the great pics of the pen and box.
