Sounds like a pretty good reason to be offline. I'll be deploying in 19 days so I'll be doing the same!

Glockfire, the very knowledge that you are in service makes you a hero to all of us, no medals needed to prove this. Please be safe and keep your eyes open and head down, we'll all be here for your return. Peace

I'll certainly say I can understand David's decision.

if a guy has to make a video and post it up on youtube to say goodbye to his internet buddies, hes got an internet addiction problem. im glad hes taking the steps to not let his life and family pass him by.

I believe David has had similar issues in the past IIRC. I wish him and his family the best and hope he finds a happy balance in his life. :)

Hey folks,

First let me clear some things up. I simply posted that video on YouTube because it does take a good amount of time to record, edit, upload, etc and do all the YouTube stuff. I do enjoy doing it but just didn't have the time. That video was directed at my small amount of 42 subscribers.

As far as the forums go and stuff I will always be around here....just a little less. It's how I relax at night after a mentally tough day at work.

I only put a small simple anouncement in my profile to let anyone know that wanted to look. I do talk to quite a few of the regular forumites outside of the forum and they know when I'm taking breaks etc so we all don't worry about the wellbeing of each other. As an example Hannibal Lecter hit me up on WLM the same day he looked at my profile. He's a good dude and I let him know everything.

I certainly didn't expect lsutigers1010 to spill things over from YouTube to here. I didn't need to make a scene, if ya know what I mean. No hard feelings lsutigers1010. Water under the bridge.

Thanks for all the wishes of well being. I appreciate every single one.

And JBE is right, I have had similar issues in the past. I'm sort of an "all or nothing" kind of person and sometimes when I get into something I go at it with such gusto that I need to stop and go "whoa boy.....slow down" :D

So anyway, After a nice 8 day break I feel refreshed etc. People who know me know that a few times a year I take "Internet breaks" I don't do anything on the Internet at all for an entire week. No email, no surfing, nothing. So that's what I just did. I gets your head back on straight.

God bless you all.

Cheers,
David
